Shakespeare Festival
NQADA students are introduced to William Shakespeare from an early age.
Each year, NQADA will hold a Shakespearean Festival where the students will perform sonnets, scenes and monologues from any of Shakespeare’s plays.
Every two years, NQADA puts on a Shakespearean production which is available to any interested student.

Timon of Athens National Production
Kurtis Lowden and Kimberley Grieves were invited to be a part of the
national production. Students are chosen from all over Australia and are
given the opportunity to work with theatre professionals for 10 days in
which they will workshop and present the production. Michael Huxley, an
experienced professional actor and director from Marian Street Theatre,
will direct this show. Students must be 16 yrs of age to be eligible.
Last year Sam Brookfield and Ella Rimington were invited to be a part of the national production. Sam attended and ended up with a sizeable role in that bloodthirsty play Titus Andronicus.
Ella Rimington this year auditioned and was successful to perform
in the Globe’s professional production of Romeo and Juliet as Juliet.
We are so very proud of her and her achievement.
